With the completion of the PTQ, the 108-player field for the 2026 U.S. Open has been set. The winner of the U.S. Open will get a PBA Tour major title and a top prize of $100,000.
Official practice sessions are scheduled to begin Monday. Tournament competition starts Tuesday at 8 a.m. local with the first eight-game qualifying block.
Players will bowl 24 games of qualifying before the first cut reduces the field from 108 to 36. Those remaining will bowl an additional eight-game block.
After 32 games, the top 24 players will advance to round-robin match play. Total pinfall over 56 games, including bonus pins for match wins, will determine the five players who qualify for the stepladder finals.
The stepladder finals of the 2026 U.S. Open will be broadcast live on The CW. All qualifying and match-play rounds prior to the finals will air on BowlTV.
The 2026 U.S. Open total prize fund is $275,000.
