The Storm Lucky Larsen Masters 2026 has reached the halfway point of qualification at Olympia Bowling in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Thirteen of the 27 squads are complete, but with 14 still to come, the standings are far from settled.

While many of bowling’s biggest names are currently on the golf course at the SLLM golf event at Lydinge Golfklubb, some less familiar but no less talented European players are leading the standings.

Slovenia’s Tomo Gaber Pinteric, a young talent from Swedish club IS Göta, currently leads with 1,488. He is five pins ahead of two-time PBA Tour champion Carsten Hansen of Denmark, who sits second with 1,483.

Sweden’s Noel Haglund Torgersen is third with 1,474, followed by Albin Gullstrand with 1,473 and Norway’s Mathias Otting with 1,456.

In fact, European players currently hold the first 18 places in the standings, with EJ Tackett sitting 19th. Fourteen of the current top 20 are Swedes.

With unlimited re-entries, big scores are common at Olympia Bowling, so the score needed to advance keeps getting higher with each squad. Sweden’s Erik Larsson currently holds the last advancing place in the general standings with 1,337, but no one near the cut can relax with 14 squads still remaining.

The top 40 in the general standings will move on, joined by 15 additional players from the tournament’s special categories.

Qualification continues through Saturday, August 29. The early final rounds will be played Sunday, while the semifinals and title match are scheduled for Monday evening.

Updated scores are available through the official SLLM results page.

Storm Bowling Party Takes Over Wednesday Night

Once Wednesday’s qualifying is finished, the action will continue with the Storm Bowling Party at Olympia Bowling.

The evening includes dinner with the stars, magic from Simon Zi, the presentation of Magnus Medalj 2026 and a Swedish League-format charity match between Team Tackett and Team Iceman.

The charity match begins at 7:30 p.m. local time and will help raise money for the Swedish Childhood Diabetes Foundation.

All tournament action from the lanes, including the special match, can be watched on the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters YouTube channel.
