Official Rulebook - 2026 Season
The BowlingLife PBA Tour Fantasy Challenge allows fantasy managers to compete throughout the PBA Tour season by selecting professional bowlers for each event and earning points based on their on-lane performance.
The fantasy manager with the highest total score at the end of the season will be crowned the BowlingLife PBA Tour Fantasy Champion.
Only one entry per person is permitted for the 2026 BowlingLife PBA Tour Fantasy Challenge.
To participate, each fantasy manager must sign in using a Google account when submitting their team. This sign-in serves as account verification and ensures fair play across the competition.
For each PBA Tour event listed in the BowlingLife Fantasy League schedule (see Section 14), fantasy managers must submit their team by completing the official Google Form prior to the event deadline.
Once a team is submitted, the associated Google email address becomes permanently linked to that fantasy team for the entire 2026 season and cannot be changed.
Players must always sign in using the same Google account when submitting lineups or making updates.
All future submissions, updates, and fantasy points will be tracked exclusively using the registered Google email address.
The email addresses submitted for the BowlingLife Fantasy League are used strictly for team identification and scoring. These addresses will not be shared, nor will they be made public. Only team names will be displayed on the official leaderboard.
Important
Using a different account will result in the creation of a separate entry and loss of previously accumulated fantasy points.
BowlingLife will not merge, rename, or correct email addresses, teams and points once submitted.
Please double-check if you are signing in with the correct Google account before submitting the Google Form.
For each PBA Tour event, fantasy managers select six (6) players:
Five (5) Tier Players
One player from each tier: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5
One (1) Wildcard Player
Selected separately (see Section 6)
A valid roster must include exactly one player from each tier, plus one Wildcard.
4.1 Tier Composition
The Top 50 ranked players are divided into five tiers:
Tier 1 - players ranked 1-10
Tier 2 - players ranked 11-20
Tier 3 - players ranked 21-30
Tier 4 - players ranked 31-40
Tier 5 - players ranked 41-50
Fantasy managers must select one player from each tier.
4.2 Tier Rankings Formula
Player rankings are based on adjusted PBA Tour points using the following formula:
Start of 2026 season: (2024 season points × 0.5 + 2025 season points × 1.0)
During the 2026 season: (2024 season points × 0.5 + 2025 season points × 1.0 + 2026 season points × 1.0)
Players are ranked by their total adjusted points and placed into tiers accordingly before each.
4.3 Tier Updates
Tiers are updated after each PBA Tour event.
Updated tiers apply to the next fantasy event.
Tier placements are locked before roster submissions are opened.
Updated Tiers before each PBA Tour event will be posted on BowlingLife Discord and updated in Google Form for the next event.
5.1 Event Scoring
Only bowlers who finish inside the Top 50 of a PBA Tour event earn fantasy points.
Bowlers finishing outside the Top 50 earn 0 points.
5.2 Fantasy Points Allocation
1st place: 300 fantasy points
50th place: 30 fantasy points
Points decrease progressively between positions (see Section 13)
Higher finish = more fantasy points.
Fantasy points distribution table will apply consistently to all events.
For each PBA Tour event, every fantasy manager must select one (1) Wildcard player.
The Wildcard may be any bowler who is not included in the Top 50 tier rankings for that specific event. This includes players competing in the main field as well as players in the PTQ.
If a player who was previously eligible as a Wildcard moves into the Top 50 tier rankings after a PBA Tour event, that player becomes ineligible as a Wildcard for the next event. In such cases, fantasy managers must select a different Wildcard player who is ranked outside the Top 50.
Fantasy managers must submit a new Wildcard selection for every PBA Tour event.
Wildcard player is entered manually and exactly as listed in the official player list. Any spelling differences or name variations may result in the selection being considered invalid.
For each PBA Tour event, every fantasy manager must designate one (1) Captain from their six selected players.
The Captain can be any player on the roster, including any tier player.
The Captain's fantasy points for that event are multiplied by 1.5x.
Rosters must be submitted for every event.
After each event concludes:
Tiers are updated
A new roster submission window opens
Fantasy managers must submit a new roster for every event.
Rosters may be submitted from the moment the Google Form for a new event is announced until the start of the main field qualification for that event.
Rosters may be submitted either before or after the PTQ. If you plan to select a player coming from the PTQ, you may wait until the PTQ has concluded and all players advancing to the main field are confirmed before submitting your roster.
Failure to submit a roster results in zero points for that event.
Fantasy managers are ranked on a global leaderboard based on their total accumulated fantasy points across all PBA Tour events.
In addition to the overall standings, the BowlingLife Fantasy League season is divided into three (3) rounds, each consisting of a defined group of PBA Tour events (for the full schedule see Section 14).
Each round functions as a mini competition within the season, allowing fantasy managers to compete for round-specific rankings independently of the overall standings.
Standings for both the overall leaderboard and each round are updated after every PBA Tour event.
10.1 Tie in Round Standings or Overall Season Standings
In the event of a tie in round standings or overall season standings, the following tiebreakers will be applied in order:
Highest total fantasy point score achieved by the team in a single PBA Tour event
Second-highest total fantasy point score achieved by the team in a single PBA Tour event, followed by third-highest, and so on
If teams remain tied after comparing all team event scores, BowlingLife's decision is final
The tiebreaker comparison is based on the PBA Tour event that determines the tied standings (final event of the round or season).
10.2 Tie in a Single PBA Tour Event Standings
In the event of a tie within a single PBA Tour event standings, the following tiebreakers will be applied in order:
Highest individual bowler fantasy point score on the fantasy team
Second-highest individual bowler fantasy point score on the fantasy team, followed by third-highest, and so on
Highest Wildcard bowler fantasy point score
BowlingLife's decision is final
BowlingLife will recognize top-performing fantasy managers in both:
