After two intense days of semifinal action in Nyköping, the 2025 Swedish Elitserien final is officially set. Regular season champions Team Clan Nässjö BK will take on defending champions Team Pergamon in a highly anticipated showdown between two of the league’s most accomplished names.

Both teams were pushed to the limit in their semifinal series, each securing 11–9 victories in a dramatic Game 3. Pergamon bounced back to edge out BK Kaskad in a tense battle, while Team Clan held off a fierce challenge from Alingsås BC.

Pontus Andersson, one of the leading players of Team Clan, described just how close and emotional it was.

“Always the matches against Alingsås is just so intense and close. We knew it was gonna be like that today too. Through the last frames there’s so much emotions between the hope of winning and the sadness of losing. At the end of the day it’s always just focus on one shot at a time. We all stepped up when we needed too. I’m so proud of my teammates.”

Throughout the semifinal weekend, Clan stood out for their loud support and team spirit. It wasn’t just noise—it was energy with purpose and Andersson awarded it with a highest grade.

“We all are very outgoing and excited when we bowl. We love to show the best of our sport but at the same time show everybody that we will and want to win. We will support each other until every shot is finished. A-grade for sure.”

Looking ahead to Sunday’s final, Pontus shared the mindset the team is carrying into the match.

“One shot at a time. Focus on the process. We don’t care if we have a split in the frame before or after 7-bagger. Every frame counts and the whole team knows it. We will be really hard to beat tomorrow.”

On the other side, Team Pergamon fought their way back from an opening loss in the semifinal against BK Kaskad to reach yet another Swedish Elitserien final. For Martin Larsen, experience played a key role—but not in the way people always expect.

“it’s strange on how experience sometimes feels like it means a lot and sometimes nothing. This time the very demanding pattern made us looking for a good ball reaction all the time and having team mates helping out was major. Think my experience helped my trust the process and finally find the right game plan.”

Pergamon dropped the first game in all three matches but stayed calm and committed to their strategy.

“Kaskad was strong in game 1 all 3 matches, we kept focus on throwing good shots to help us make the right moves. Never look back, just next thing!” Larsen also emphasized how challenging it is to maintain both physical and mental energy during matches like these—and how crucial it is to have solid support behind you.

“Those matches can drain your energy very quickly. Hydration and food are critical. Again, don’t look back—just search for the right reaction on the lanes. Osku Palermaa helped me big time with a ball suggestion I wouldn’t have made myself. I feel proud working and bowling with this team. Seeing the crowd, our fans enjoy bowling, and watching our young players develop drives me and keeps me going!”

When asked about Team Clan as a finals opponent, Martin gave them credit—but kept Pergamon’s focus on themselves.

“Team Clan has a great group of bowlers. The day they make it all work, we will have a hard time beating them. But our focus is not on them—we need to throw good shots, help each other, and learn from every game. Then we can make good decisions, and when we do that, it’s hard to stop us." Team Pergamon, chasing their 17th national title, will face Team Clan, who are looking to cap off their dominant regular season, at 9 AM Swedish local time. On the women’s side, the championship match will also feature the top two teams. Team X-Calibur BK and defending champions Spader Dam each swept their semifinal series 2–0 and will face off in a battle for the national title.
