The PTQ for the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open has been cancelled ahead of the event at Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis.
The tournament will start on June 10 with the live finals scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, on CBS Sports Network.
The PTQ was originally set to feature 49 players bowling eight games at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday. However, the format had already created an unusual situation, as 48 of those 49 players were expected to advance into the main field.
That changed again when two players withdrew from the U.S. Women’s Open main field. One of them was England’s Verity Crawley, who suffered a stress fracture in her right shin earlier in May.
With no cut left to make, organizers cancelled the PTQ and informed the players.
TOgether with the players listed on the PTQ, the main field will include the top 75 players from the 2025 PWBA Tour points list, past U.S. Women’s Open champions, and BPAA exemption.
