The Professional Women’s Bowling Association has announced the schedule for the 2027 PWBA Regional Tour.
The season will feature 10 events, beginning with the PWBA Fort Meade Regional in Maryland on January 31 and ending with the PWBA Regional Showdown at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando, Florida, from December 2-4.
Regional events will also be held in Texas, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Wisconsin, Ohio and South Carolina.
The regular regional stops will continue to use a one-day format featuring eight games of qualifying before the top four advance to the stepladder finals.
Each regional winner will also earn an automatic place in match play at the season-ending Regional Showdown. The remaining places in the 18-player field will be decided through an eight-game qualifying round open to eligible regional competitors.
The Regional Showdown champion will receive her entry fees covered for all PWBA National Tour singles events in 2028.
To compete in a PWBA Regional event, female bowlers must average at least 180. Players who have won a PWBA National Tour title within the previous 15 years are not eligible to enter regional events.
