The Netherlands has finalized its national team for the upcoming European Youth Championships in Berlin, sources tell BowlingLife.
Based on an email sent by the federation to the players, the selected athletes have already been informed, while an official public announcement has not yet been made. The information was confirmed by two independent sources.
The championship will bring together Europe’s top youth bowlers, and the Dutch team will be represented in both the girls’ and boys’ competitions.
On the girls’ side, the Netherlands will be represented by Roisin Warmerdam, Phyllis Weerts, Ella Weggemans, and Hannah Westdijk. Lieke Koops has been named as the reserve player for the girls’ team.
The boys’ team consists of Radin Alizade, Stan Koolma, Thomas Kras, and Luuk Weggemans. Xavi van Diest has been selected as the reserve for the boys.
The European Youth Championships will be held at City Bowling Hasenheide in Berlin from March 28 to April 6th.
National teams from across Europe will compete in singles, doubles, team, and masters events.
Earlier this year, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark also announced their national team squads for the upcoming European Youth Championships.
