Kolhonen won one of six seats on the Finnish federation’s board. The other five went to Daniela Lönnroth, Ari Palm, Verneri Kettunen, Atte Lehtonen and Olli Kiuru.

The council approved a 2027 budget of just under €1 million. With state grants and funding for elite sport uncertain, the federation adjusted spending on staff and national team participation in major competitions.

The council agreed to keep fees unchanged for bowlers and clubs in 2027–28. An adult licence will cost €75, while first-time, para and junior licences will each cost €30.
