The biggest Icelandic bowling tournament, Reykjavik Games 2025, concluded today. A total of 87 athletes from eight countries competed for a €15,500 prize pool and an EBT Tour title.

The top four players advanced to the final stage, where they competed in a televised bowling match. After each game, the player with the lowest score was eliminated.

Iceland’s Mikael Aron Vilhelmsson, the 2024 European Bowling Youth Championships Boys’ Masters bronze medalist, came out on top, claiming the Reykjavik Games 2025 champion title and his first EBT Tour title. In the final match, he defeated Sweden’s William Svensson 214-184.

Denmark’s Carsten Trane secured third place, while Poland’s Adam Pawel Blaszczak, the 2022 Reykjavik Games champion, finished fourth.

Reykjavik Games 2025 was part of the Reykjavik International Games, a multi-sport event featuring competitions in over 20 different sports. This year, the tournament was also included in the European Bowling Tour as a Satellite event.
