Jordan Snodgrass turned the top seed into a title Friday night, winning the 2026 PWBA Barbara Chrisman Classic presented by Storm at HP Lanes in Columbus, Ohio.
Snodgrass defeated Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane 250-198 in the championship match to claim her seventh career PWBA Tour title.
The final did not stay close for long. Snodgrass opened with six straight strikes, building early pressure on Sin, who entered the stepladder finals as the No. 2 seed. A 4-6-7-10 split in the seventh frame briefly opened the door, but Sin could not make up enough ground.
Sin reached the final after defeating Shannon Pluhowsky 256-188 in the semifinal. Pluhowsky was making her third straight championship-round appearance of the 2026 PWBA season after winning the PWBA BowlTV Open and finishing second at the PWBA Lilac City Open.
The stepladder finals began with South Korea’s Seo Yeon Ryu facing Olivia Farwell. Ryu, who became the first Korean player to compete on the PWBA Tour this year, added another milestone by reaching the championship round during her first season.
Her first win on the TV pair will have to wait. Farwell won the opening match 220-182 on her 28th birthday.

Farwell then advanced to face Pluhowsky, but the run ended in the second match. Pluhowsky won 245-227 to move into the semifinal against Sin.
The event in Columbus was the first PWBA tournament held in honor of Barbara Chrisman, the co-founder of Storm Bowling.
The PWBA Tour now moves to Indianapolis for the Go Bowling U.S. Women’s Open at Royal Pin Woodland. The major begins June 9.
