After winning the 2026 PWBA Barbara Chrisman Classic last week for her seventh career PWBA Tour title, Jordan Snodgrass kept her momentum going by leading the opening day of qualifying at the 2026 Go Bowling U.S. Women’s Open.

Snodgrass finished Thursday’s opening block at Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis with 1,898 over eight games, a 237.25 average, on the first of four U.S. Women’s Open oil patterns.

NCAA national champion with Jax State, Annalise OBryant, finished the day in second place with 1,893, just five pins behind Snodgrass.

Liz Kuhlkin and Colombia’s Maria José Bohr tied for third with 1,868. Latvia’s Diana Zavjalova completed the top five with 1,861.

Dasha Kovalova of Ukraine finished sixth with 1,842. Lauren Russo was seventh with 1,834, followed by Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane in eighth with 1,808.

Maryssa Carey finished ninth with 1,802, while Taylor Bulthuis closed the top 10 with 1,782.

The defending champion, Singapore’s New Hui Fen, who defeated Snodgrass in the final after her historic run from the No. 5 seed, is currently in 29th position with 1,702 total.

There is still a long way to go before the champion is crowned. Players have completed only eight games, with 16 more qualifying games still scheduled on two difficult oil patterns before the first cut.

Qualifying continues Friday and Saturday with eight-game blocks at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET.

After three rounds of qualifying, the top 36 players will advance to another eight-game block Sunday at 10 a.m. ET.

The field will then be cut to the top 24 for round-robin match play on Sunday and Monday.

The top five players after match play will advance to the stepladder finals, which are scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
