Canada's Sarah Klassen won the 2026 PWBA Oklahoma Regional at Sooner Bowling Center in Norman, Oklahoma. She beat Ashley Rucker 260-191 in the title match to claim her first professional title.
The win earned Klassen $2,200 and an automatic spot in match play at the PWBA Regional Showdown, the season-ending event scheduled for December 10-12 at Airport Lanes in Sanford, Florida.
Klassen was the top seed after eight games of qualifying with 1,826, an average of just over 228, including a 298 in the sixth game.
The stepladder opened with two players making their first PWBA stepladder appearance. Alyssa Ballard of Fort Worth, Texas, kept a clean game and beat Kristin Kilker of Grand Prairie, Texas, 232-190. In the semifinal, Ballard fell to Ashley Rucker 227-219.
In the final, Klassen mixed strikes and spares through the first four frames and then pulled away for a 260-191 win. Rucker, who was chasing her second PWBA Regional title, earned $1,100.
