Only 16 players remain in the title race at the 2026 U22 Masters and U22 Queens after the first day of match play at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando.
Five rounds of two-game total pinfall matches were held on Sunday. After those matches, eight players remained in the U22 Masters field and eight players remained in the U22 Queens field.
Four players in each event finished Sunday without a loss. Those players are now one win away from securing a place in the stepladder finals. The other four players in each field are still alive in the Elimination Bracket.
In the U22 Masters, Griffin Jordan, Jaysen Spanbauer, Chance McLane, and Kaden Kuusela finished Sunday with 3-0 records.
Griffin Jordan had one of the main runs of the day, including a win against the two-time defending champion Brandon Bohn in the second round and the first 300 game in U22 Masters history during that match.
The Elimination Bracket still includes Brandon Bohn, Jacob Bockstie, Max Macklin, and Andru Blaney.

Three more rounds of match play will take place Monday morning. After those rounds, three players in each event will remain and advance to the finals.
The top seed in each event will need to be beaten twice to lose the title.
The U22 Queens stepladder finals are scheduled to begin Monday at 2 p.m. ET on BowlTV. The U22 Masters finals are expected to start right after that.
The 2026 U22 Masters and Queens will also carry Junior Team USA implications. The USBC Team USA Athlete Advisory Council has approved eight Junior Team USA 2027 spots for top finishers in Orlando.
In each event, the top three age-eligible players under 21 before Jan. 1, 2027, after qualifying will earn spots on Junior Team USA 2027.
Each tournament champion will also receive a spot. If the champion has already earned a place or is not age eligible, the final spot will go to the next-highest age-eligible finisher after qualifying.
