Lucky Strike Entertainment announced new upgrades aimed at improving the experience for regular league bowlers while also making leagues easier to discover for new players.

Lucky Strike plans to improve lane conditioning and oil patterns across 270 bowling centers. These upgrades will touch more than 300,000 bowlers who currently take part in leagues across the United States. The goal is to create more consistent playing conditions for bowlers competing week after week.

Lucky Strike said league bowling remains an important part of its business and its connection with local bowling communities. To promote leagues and bring new people into the sport, the company will hold League Open Houses at 244 participating centers nationwide. The events are designed to introduce new bowlers to local leagues and give current players more information about upcoming seasons and league benefits.

The League Open Houses will continue through July 30. Visitors can meet other bowlers, learn about available leagues and try two hours of free bowling with shoe rental included.

Lucky Strike Vice President of Leagues Trista Kimmes said the company wants to support longtime league players while making the format more accessible to people who have never joined a league before.

"League bowling has always been an important part of who we are, and we're committed to continuing to invest in the experience for the bowlers who make our leagues so special. We're focused on making leagues more accessible to first-time bowlers and anyone looking for a fun, social activity they can enjoy week after week. Our League Open Houses are a great way for guests to experience that community and see firsthand what league bowling is all about," Kimmes said.

Earlier in July, Lucky Strike Entertainment introduced a refreshed identity for AMF.
