Competition will begin on Friday morning, with A Squad bowling seven games of qualifying at 9 a.m. ET. B Squad will follow at 1:30 p.m. ET. All players will return for a second qualifying block on Saturday.

After 14 games of qualifying, the U22 Masters field will be cut to the top 32 players, while the U22 Queens field will be cut to the top 24. Those bowlers will move into bracket match play. Every match in both events will use a two-game total pinfall format.

Five rounds of match play will take place on Sunday. After those rounds, eight players in each event will advance to Monday’s final day. Three more match play rounds will be held Monday morning. After that, three players will remain in each field.

Both the U22 Masters and the U22 Queens finals will begin Monday at 2 p.m. ET. All rounds, including finals, will be streamed live on BowlTV.

The top seed in each event will need to be beaten twice to lose the title.

The 2026 U22 Masters and Queens will also carry Junior Team USA implications. The USBC Team USA Athlete Advisory Council has approved eight Junior Team USA 2027 spots for top finishers in Orlando.

In each event, the top three age-eligible players under 21 before Jan. 1, 2027, after qualifying will earn spots on Junior Team USA 2027. Each tournament champion will also receive a spot. If the champion has already earned a place or is not age eligible, the final spot will go to the next-highest age-eligible finisher after qualifying.
