South Africa will return to the European Women’s Championship in 2026 after more than a decade away from the event.
The Tenpin Bowling Association of South Africa has announced the National Team roster that will represent the country at the 2026 European Women’s Bowling Championships in Odense, Denmark.
South Africa last competed in the European Women’s Championship in 2012, when the event was held at Dolfijn Bowling in Tilburg, Netherlands.
The 2026 edition will therefore mark South Africa’s first appearance in the tournament in 14 years.
This year, South Africa will be represented by six experienced bowlers: Stacey-Lee Hooper, Roxanne Hechter, Kimeshnee Govender, Caren Eames, Amanda Grove’, and Shanna Mae Cannon.
The European Women’s Bowling Championships 2026 will take place at Odense Bowling Center from June 12 to June 20. National teams will compete across singles, doubles, trios, team, all-events, and masters disciplines.
At the beginning of April, Sweden also announced its roster for the European Women’s Championships.
