Finland's Niko Oksanen won the Norwegian Open 2024 by Storm, securing the EBT Tour title with a 225-214 victory over top seed Mathias Danielsen Otting in the final.
In the stepladder finals, Oksanen first defeated Norway's Viktor Brentbråten Mortensen 223-219 to advance to the title match.
Oksanen finished 13th in the qualifiers, advancing directly to final step 4, where he placed 3rd, allowing him to move on. In final step 5, Oksanen posted a six-game total of 1442, securing the No. 2 seed for the stepladder finals.
This year’s Norwegian Open saw 188 competitors, 14 more than last year.
