The Mītava Bowling Cup 2025, Latvia's first international bowling tournament of its kind, concluded on Sunday, leaving a lasting impression on participants and spectators alike.

The event saw bowlers from Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania competing in an exciting series of matches, with 59 players in total, including 10 women.

The tournament featured 6 qualification games, followed by intense knockout rounds. After the qualification, the top 20 players advanced to the final, with additional spots awarded to the best junior, female, senior, and the winner of the Desperado round.

A standout moment was Lithuania's Edvinas Skarbalius scoring a perfect 300 during the qualification round. In the women's category, Elizabete Gorina set the highest score with 229 but unfortunately did not make it to the final top 20.

After thrilling semifinals, the final match was set between two Latvians – Artūrs Ļevikins and Pēteris Cimdiņš. While Ļevikins won the first game 232-186, Cimdiņš secured his victory in the next two, 208-257 and 226-232, ultimately winning the tournament and €700. Ļevikins finished second, Robin Miklas third, and Edvinas Skarbalius fourth.

The total prize fund for the event was €3,200.
