Mega Xtreme Sofia Open 2024 came to a close at the Joy Station bowling center in Sofia, Bulgaria, after a week of intense competition.
This year’s tournament, a satellite event of the European Bowling Tour (EBT), saw a dramatic final showdown between top bowlers from across Europe.
Lukas Jelinek from the Czech Republic claimed the championship title in a nail-biting final, narrowly defeating Finland’s Luukas Vaananen with a stunning score of 277-276.
The bronze medal went to another Czech bowler, Ondrej Trojek, rounding out a strong showing for the Czech team, with Matyas Mnacko also placing fourth in the competition.
On the women’s side, Egypt’s Sarah Gamal dazzled fans and claimed the title of Best Female Bowler of the tournament, showcasing her exceptional skills on the lanes.
