Kayden Laganà wins Dimitris Karetsos Tournament in Greece

Malta's Kayden Laganà won the Dimitris Karetsos Tournament 2024 in Athens, Greece, securing the EBT Tour satellite event title with a 250-214 victory over local player Nicolaos Serelis in the final. Nikos Boufesis of Greece finished third.

Kayden Laganà finished 4th in the qualifiers, advancing directly to Final Step 3, where he defeated Greece's Vasilis Stefopoulos in a two-game total match play, 434-424, to move on. In Final Step 4, Laganà convincingly defeated another Greek competitor, Spyridon Lykiardopoulos, in a two-game total match play, 519-335. With four players remaining, Kayden Laganà advanced further with a score of 201, and in Final Step 6, he scored 216 to secure the No. 1 seed for the final.
