The International Hammer Challenge 2026 is still a few months away, but the field is already starting to take shape. More than 120 players from 13 countries have already registered for the tournament, which will take place from August 14 to 23, 2026, at Tali Bowl in Helsinki, Finland.

For many bowlers, the International Hammer Challenge has become one of the key late-summer tournaments in Europe. It brings together players from different countries, offers a strong prize fund, and gives competitors a full tournament week at one of Europe’s best-known bowling venues.

Tali Bowl has hosted many major events over the years, and its long history makes it a familiar stop for both Finnish and international players.

In August, it will once again become the center of attention for bowlers looking to test themselves in Helsinki.

The 2026 International Hammer Challenge will feature a total prize fund of €52,380, with €7,000 awarded to the winner. Meanwhile, players reaching the B-final will also receive a gift card to the 2027 Brunswick Ballmaster Open.

Last year, the International Hammer Challenge gathered 286 participants, making it one of the largest bowling events in Finland. Petteri Salonen won the 2025 title after advancing from the seniors qualification and continuing his run through the final rounds. In the championship match, he defeated Alex Joki, who also started his path from the B-final.

This year’s edition will again include extra prize opportunities through the 300eXtra, 250eXtra, and No250eXtra challenges. These side events give players more ways to win during the tournament week, even outside the main final stages.

Players who want to compete at the International Hammer Challenge 2026 can still secure their squad through the official entry system.
