The 2026 Intercollegiate Singles Championships are down to the final eight players in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
The event is being held at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and began with 24 athletes in each division.
After one six-game qualifying block and two rounds of match play, only eight players in each division remain in contention for the national titles.
In the women’s division, Jacksonville State freshman Gianna Brandolino led the field after qualifying with a six-game total of 1,300, averaging just over 216. Her performance secured the top seed and a direct place in the second round of match play. She continued her run with a strong win in her opening match to advance further in the bracket. Brandolino is coming off a strong week, having led Jax State to the 2026 NC bowling championship title after defeating Wichita State in the final.
