The upcoming Storm 3rd No Urethane Open in Finland, which will kick off on April 14, will feature three specialized seminars led by four-time USBC Open Championships winner and Storm's International Technical Director Matt McNiel. Organized with the support of Storm Products, these seminars aim to provide valuable insights into different aspects of bowling performance.
Seminar Schedule
Wednesday, April 23rd at 19:00 – Ball Motion and Arsenal Building
This seminar will focus on understanding and creating effective ball motion. Participants will also learn techniques for building a versatile bowling ball arsenal suitable for different lane conditions.
Thursday, April 24th at 18:30 – Mental Mastery
This session will cover mental strategies used by top professionals, including pre-shot routines, decision-making processes, and techniques to maintain focus and composure during competition.
Friday, April 25th at 18:30 – Ball Mapping
This seminar will provide an in-depth look at ball mapping techniques for both one-handed and two-handed bowlers. It will cover the principles of ball layouts and how to optimize them for various playing conditions.
Seminar Details and Registration
Each seminar costs 140 euros and includes a Storm bowling ball, with participants choosing between the Storm Level or Storm !Q Tour AI models. Drilling services are available at a discounted rate of 40 euros, including grips and slug or outer sleeve if required. Matt McNiel will be available to assist with ball layouts.
