The Singles competition of the IBF World Cup 2025 concluded today in spectacular fashion, with nail-biting matches and historic victories. The journey saw 32 men and 16 women advance from the group stages into a knockout bracket. In this format, competitors faced off in head-to-head battles, with the first to win two games advancing to the next round.


Men’s Division: Jian Chao Du Takes Gold for China


The men’s semifinals were fiercely contested. In the first match, Malaysia’s Rafiq Ismail delivered an incredible performance, defeating Packy Hanrahan of the United States with scores of 257 and 253 against 235 and 191. Meanwhile, Jian Chao Du of China outplayed Singapore’s Jaris Goh, securing his spot in the final with scores of 233 and 200 against Goh’s 180 and 179.


The final was a thrilling three-game battle between Jian Chao Du and Rafiq Ismail. Du’s consistent performance under pressure earned him the championship with scores of 222, 226, and 235, defeating Ismail’s scores of 223, 166, and 193. With this victory, Jian Chao Du claimed the coveted IBF World Cup Singles presented by QubicaAMF title.

Women’s Division: Natasha Roslan Makes History for Malaysia


The women’s semifinals saw Germany’s Birgit Noreiks defeat Sweden’s Nora Johansson with scores of 197 and 195 against 170 and 161. In the other semifinal, Malaysia’s Natasha Roslan battled past Singapore’s Daphne Tan in a three-game thriller, winning 244 and 213 against Tan’s 198 and 216, before clinching the decisive third game 187 to 181.


In the final, Natasha Roslan delivered a commanding performance against Birgit Noreiks, winning in straight games with scores of 217 and 226 against Noreiks’s 166 and 169. This victory marked a historic moment as Roslan became the first Malaysian woman to win the IBF World Cup Singles gold.
