
The Finnish Junior Championships 2025 concluded in Kupittaa, Finland, with Peppi Konsteri and Markus Lahti securing national titles in their respective categories. The tournament showcased Finland’s top young bowling talent, with impressive performances from both new and returning champions.
The competition began with an eight-game qualifying round, followed by a round-robin phase for the top six players. The top three from each category then advanced to the medal matches.
Konsteri Wins Back-to-Back Titles
Peppi Konsteri successfully defended her title, winning her second consecutive Finnish Junior Championship. She dominated the competition, finishing first in the round-robin stage and securing a decisive victory in the final against Mila Nevalainen. Konsteri won both sets 435-367 (223-174, 212-193) to claim gold.
Nevalainen took silver, while Tiiamari Laukkanen earned bronze after a close semi-final match.

Lahti Claims First National Championship
Markus Lahti, representing Valtti, won his first Finnish Championship title. He advanced through the knockout rounds as the No. 3 seed, defeating Pyry Puharinen in the semi-final with a total score of 472-447. In the final, Lahti faced No. 1 seed Lenni Juutilainen, winning in two sets with a total score of 442-429 (215-213, 227-216).
Juutilainen finished with silver, while Puharinen took bronze.
