
Finland's Ani Juntunen became the first non-Swedish player to secure the title at the MOTIV AIK Ladies Tournament. The third edition of the tournament concluded on Sunday at Bowlorama, with 101 player field competing for the title.
The competition saw intense action, especially in the final match play Round Robin. Jenny Wegner was leading before the last match but lost to her clubmate, Ottilia Gunnarsson, with a score of 250-238. This allowed Ani Juntunen to claim victory after defeating Malin Gref 259-249 in her final game.
Juntunen finished with a total of 3872 points, while Wegner secured second place with 3845 points. The podium was completed by another Finnish player, Eliisa Hiltunen, who finished third with 3807 points.

The MOTIV AIK Ladies Tournament 2025 also featured a HCP class victory by Finland's Peppi Konsteri. Frida Sethsson finished second, while Victoria Johansson rounded up the top three.
This year’s event marked the first stop of the women's elite SM tour for 2025.
