France Strikes Gold in Boys' Doubles at European Youth Bowling Championships 2025

The third day of action at the European Youth Bowling Championships 2025 in Samsun, Turkey brought more high-stakes excitement as the Boys’ Doubles event took center stage. After strong performances throughout qualifying and match play, it was France’s Raphael Durivault and Timeo Dujardin who rose to the top, claiming gold in a well-fought final.

Entering the finals as the No. 4 seed, the French duo delivered under pressure. They defeated Denmark’s Sebastian Holm Holst and Tobias Kastfelt Bryde (No. 3 seed) by a score of 452–419 to secure the championship title.

Earlier in the semifinals, Holst and Bryde had outscored their fellow Danes, Oscar Emil Porskrog and Magnus Rehnquist, 465–407. Meanwhile, Durivault and Dujardin pulled off a key upset by knocking out the No. 1 seed from the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Zapletal and David Mojka, to earn their spot in the final.
