The Scottish Open 2025 concluded on Sunday at L.A. Bowl in Ayr, Scotland, where No. 1 seed Brian Gillespie claimed the title after winning the title match against No. 4 seed Euan Coote with a score of 220–203.
The stepladder finals were played in single-game elimination format, where the lowest seed faced the next-highest seed in each round.
Coote had reached the final by first defeating Ben Wallace 211–185 in game 1 and then winning against Ben Robinson 279–224 in game 2.

About the Event
The finals followed a four-step format. Final Step 1 included players ranked below the top six. They bowled three games with scores reset to zero. The top nine from that round advanced to Final Step 2, where they were joined by the 4th to 6th place qualifiers. These players bowled another three games, and the top four advanced.
In Final Step 3, the top three qualifiers entered the competition alongside the advancing four. A three-game block was bowled, and the top four moved into the stepladder finals.
The total prize fund for the Scottish Open 2025 was £2,000. 45 players participated in this year's event.
