Andrea Mangiacotti Wins Brunswick Madrid Challenge

Italy’s Andrea Mangiacotti won the 2026 Brunswick Madrid Challenge on Sunday at Bowling Chamartín in Madrid, Spain.

Mangiacotti entered the final as the No. 1 seed and defeated Sweden’s Carl Eklund 224-205 in the championship match.

The victory earned the Italian bowler the €5,000.

Mangiacotti began his run by finishing eighth in qualification. He posted 1,411 in six games, which earned him direct entry into Final Step 3.

From there, he continued through the final rounds and secured a place among the top eight players. Mangiacotti then moved into the No. 1 seed and earned a direct place in the championship match.

Eklund reached the title match after defeating Malta’s Nicolai Mallia 257-176 in the semifinal.

The 2026 Brunswick Madrid Challenge attracted 177 players from 21 countries.

The tournament featured a total prize fund of €36,000.
