The 2026 PBA Sweden Tour began in style with the PBA Sweden Wolf Nässjö, where Sweden’s Alvin Kvarnström claimed the first title of the new season.
Kvarnström entered the stepladder final as the No. 4 seed and went on an impressive run to victory. He first defeated Joachim Karlsson, then fired a perfect 300 game to overcome William Svensson. In the championship match, Kvarnström faced Jesper Svensson and secured the win to capture the PBA Sweden Wolf Nässjö title.
With this victory, Alvin Kvarnström earned an international invitation, including entry fee, to the 2027 PBA World Series of Bowling. He also secured a guaranteed spot in the finals of the 2026 Storm Lucky Larsen Masters, one of the key events on the European bowling calendar.
The PBA Sweden Wolf Nässjö marked the first stop of the 2026 PBA Sweden Tour, a series of regional events leading up to the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters. This year’s schedule will feature four tournaments, with a possible fifth event to be added. The top three players on the season’s points list will earn eligibility for the TBA, while the overall points leader will qualify for the 2026 PBA Regional Players Invitational. One regular and one senior player will receive invitations.
Each event winner on the PBA Sweden Tour will also earn an international invitation to the 2027 PBA World Series of Bowling and a guaranteed place in the finals of the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters. The winner of the SLLM will not only earn a PBA National title but also qualify for the 2027 PBA Tournament of Champions, one of the most prestigious events in professional bowling.
The next PBA Sweden Tour stop will be PBA Sweden Viper Malmö, taking place at Baltiska Bowlinghallen in Malmö on February 14-15.
