Lithuania’s Aidas Daniūnas won the Kivelos Athens Bowling Open 2026 after a strong run through the final stages in Greece.
The 38-year-old one-hander defeated Greece’s Anastasios Exarchou 229-203 in the championship match. With the win, Daniūnas earned the €3,000 first prize.
Daniūnas started his tournament from 15th place after qualification. He scored 1,088 over five games and earned a bye directly into Final Step 2.
In Final Step 2, Daniūnas placed fifth among the top 20 players and continued his run toward the final stages.
He then defeated Greece’s Alexandra Giannadaki and Israel’s Oron Cohen to secure his place in the final four.
The total prize fund for the Kivelos Athens Bowling Open 2026 was €20,500. This year’s event brought together 248 players.
