Adam Andersson Wins 2026 Brunswick Euro Challenge

Sweden’s Adam Andersson won the 2026 Brunswick Euro Challenge on Sunday, defeating fellow Swede James Blomgren 214-172 in the title match at Løvvang Bowling Center in Aalborg, Denmark.

Andersson collected the €10,000 top prize, while Blomgren earned €7,000 as runner-up. William Svensson completed an all-Swedish podium and received €5,000 for third place.

Blomgren entered the three-player stepladder as the No. 1 seed after leading the eight-player round-robin stage. Andersson qualified second, with Svensson taking the third and final spot.

Andersson opened the stepladder with a convincing 231-179 victory over Svensson. He then defeated Blomgren 214-172 in the championship match to complete his two-match run to the title.

Denmark’s Carsten Hansen finished fourth, followed by Tim Stampe of Denmark in fifth and Finland’s Tomas Käyhkö in sixth. Canada’s François Lavoie placed seventh, while Sweden’s Carl Eklund finished eighth.

The Brunswick Euro Challenge returned to the European bowling calendar after a two-year hiatus, making a strong comeback with a €70,000 prize fund. The tournament ran from Aug. 8-16 at Løvvang Bowling Center in Aalborg, Denmark. Complete standings from every stage are available on the official tournament results page.
