One of the most recognizable voices in professional bowling is set to return
to the broadcast booth.
Randy Pedersen will be back behind the
microphone beginning this week during the
2026 Go Bowling U.S. Open. The longtime TV analyst is rejoining live event coverage after being
replaced by Kyle Sherman on regular PBA broadcasts.
Pedersen, 63, from Clermont, Florida, began his broadcasting role with the PBA in 2001. Over the years, he became one of the most recognizible voices in bowling through his work with ESPN and later FOX Sports.
Until the end of last season, Pedersen served as the PBA’s color analyst. That changed after the PBA signed a multi-year agreement with The CW Network to air live bowling events.
Now, Pedersen returns to live coverage as part of BowlTV’s broadcast team, starting Friday at the 2026 Go Bowling U.S. Open.
In addition to his broadcasting career, Pedersen is a multiple PBA Tour title winner and both the USBC and PBA Hall of Famer.
