The lanes at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Illinois, are all set for the 2026 PWBA season.
The opening event, the PWBA Bowlers Journal Rockford Open, will start on Wednesday with the pre-tournament qualifier, where bowlers will compete for 10 spots in the main field.
The advancers will then join 75 competitors who will bowl for the first PWBA title of the season.
Qualifying begins Friday at 11 a.m. ET with the first six-game block. The second round follows later that day at 6 p.m.
After 12 games, the field will be cut to the top third of the standings. Those remaining players will return on Saturday at 10 a.m. for another six-game qualifying round.
Following that, the field will be reduced again to the top 12, who will compete in a final six-game round at 3 p.m.
The top five players after all qualifying rounds will advance to the stepladder finals.
