The Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour is back in action after a month-long break.
Yesterday, players arrived at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for official practice. Today, the competition begins at the PWBA Anniversary Open with two six-game qualifying blocks scheduled for 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern.
Among the field is Singapore’s New Hui Fen, even though was initially expected to miss Green Bay due to international commitments, but she needs to chace critical points in the Player of the Year race. New currently leads with 71,000 points after three titles this season, including the recent U.S. Women’s Open.
Close behind is Jordan Snodgrass of Adrian, Michigan, with 66,925 points. Snodgrass has made four consecutive championship-round appearances and picked up a win in Waterloo.
No other competitor is within reach of the top two. Stephanie Zavala, winner of the 2025 PWBA Cleveland Open, sits in third with 45,800 points.
At the PWBA Anniversary Open, the top third of the field will advance to Thursday’s third round of qualifying, followed by a cut to the top 12. These 12 will bowl a final six-game block on Friday to determine the five players who will move on to the televised stepladder finals.
The finals will air live on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, July 13, at 7 p.m. Eastern, held in the Resch Center as part of the Junior Gold Championships Opening Ceremony.
All qualifying rounds are being streamed live on BowlTV.
