New Hui Fen Fires 300, Leads PWBA Northern Colorado Open Top 25

After 12 games at the PWBA Northern Colorado Open at Highland Park Lanes in Greeley, Colorado, New Hui Fen of Singapore leads the field with 2,864 pins and a 238.67 average.

New, who finished second at last week’s PWBA Bowlers Journal Rockford Open, also rolled the first 300 game of the 2026 PWBA season during qualifying.

The field has now been cut to the top 25 players, who will continue into the next round.

Shannon Pluhowsky finished second with 2,752, followed by Bryanna Coté in third with 2,682. Cherie Tan sits fourth with 2,670, while Syazwani Sahar completed the top five with 2,653.

Sin Li Jane, last week’s PWBA season-opening winner, advanced in sixth place with 2,643. Brittany Smith followed in seventh with 2,639, while Rocio Restrepo took eighth with 2,638. Liz Johnson sits ninth with 2,637, and Breanna Clemmer rounded out the top 10 with 2,635.

Stephanie Zavala advanced in 11th with 2,631, just ahead of Sweden’s Nora Johansson in 12th with 2,630. Lauren Russo finished 13th with 2,629, followed by Olivia Farwell in 14th with 2,612 and Natasha Roslan in 15th with 2,607.

Jordan Snodgrass placed 16th with 2,605, while Clara Guerrero took 17th with 2,604. Summer Jasmin finished 18th with 2,591, Cassidy Courey was 19th with 2,588, and Bernice Lim completed the top 20 with 2,585.

The final five advancing spots went to Shayna Ng with 2,577, Emily Eckhoff with 2,576, Crystal Elliott with 2,554, Chikara Tarashita with 2,553, and Verity Crawley with 2,549.

Erin McCarthy was the first player outside the cut. She finished 26th with 2,547, missing the top 25 by only two pins.

The remaining 25 players will return for another six-game qualifying block. After that, the field will be cut to the top 12 for the final qualifying round. The top five after all qualifying rounds will advance to the stepladder finals, where the PWBA Northern Colorado Open champion will be decided.
