The Finnish League championship titles were decided over the weekend at Tali Bowl in Helsinki.
After the medal matches, Lahti Bay secured the men’s League title, while Pori Giants claimed the women’s League championship.
In the Finnish League format, teams compete in two-match series during the semifinals and finals. A team earns 10 points for winning a match and 2 additional points for each individual player-versus-player win. Teams play four vs. four. The team with the higher total points over two matches wins.
In the women’s Finnish League, Pori Giants claimed the championship after defeating Lahti Bay in the final.
In the final, Bay won the opening match 14–4. However, Giants responded in the second match with an 18–0 result, winning the title 22-14.
The title marks the fifth Finnish League championship for Pori Giants in the last six seasons.
In the men’s competition, Lahti Bay, who finished second in the regular season, first defeated Tampere TKK in the semifinals with a combined score of 34–2.
In the final, Bay faced regular season winner Varkaus Mainarit. The first final match remained close through the early frames, but Bay pulled ahead in the later frames and won 14–4. In the second match, the teams were again evenly matched in the beginning before Bay gained control and closed the series with 30–6 win to secure the championship.
This victory marked Bay's first men’s League title since 2021.
