Four matches were played in the men’s Elitserien this past weekend, with action spread across Stockholm, Ängelholm, and Helsingborg. Team Pergamon split their Stockholm doubleheader, while Köping nearly swept their road trip in Skåne. Here's how it unfolded.

Saturday Matches Overview

IS Göta – IKW/Köping BK 9–11
Köping opened their weekend with a tight win over Göta in Helsingborg. The visitors jumped to a 7–3 lead after two series, thanks to strong starts from Carl Eklund (923) and Tony Eklund (819), who won all four pair points. Göta fought back late but fell just short. Arnar Jonsson led the home side with 851 total.

BK Full House – IKW/Köping BK 12–8
Later that day in Ängelholm, Köping came close to making it two wins from two but were edged out by Full House in a dramatic finish. Despite leading 6–4 at the halfway mark, Köping couldn't hold off the home team's late push. A single-pin difference in one matchup and a decisive finish gave Full House the win. Kim Andersson topped the hosts with 860.

AIK BK – Team Pergamon BC 7–13
Pergamon looked sharp in their Saturday clash at Bowl-O-Rama, pulling away after an even first series. A dominant 1860 set in second series followed by a 1906 total in the third gave them an unassailable 3–12 lead. Markus Jansson (981) and Jesper Svensson (964) were the standouts for Pergamon. AIK’s Kevin Melin shot 958 for AIK.

Sunday Match Recap

Stureby BK – Team Pergamon BC 13–6
Sunday brought the biggest upset of the weekend as Stureby handed Pergamon a convincing 13–6 defeat in Högdalen.

The home team exploded out of the gate with a 1974 total in the first series, including a perfect 300 from Jerry Ekman-Wogel. That 5–0 series win set the tone, and strong finishes from Alex Joki (279 final game) and Tommy Wendel (950) helped seal the club’s first win of the season.

Stureby had five players over 900. Despite Albin Gullstrand’s 1015 for Pergamon, the team couldn’t recover from the opening series blow.
