When you think of a youth bowling tournament that has it all - high-level
competition, attention to every detail, great food, and an atmosphere that
makes young bowlers feel like professional athletes – BowlingGP tournaments in
France are often the first that come to mind.
BowlingGP is a fresh and exciting name in European bowling, known for organizing top-level international tournaments. With years of experience, BowlingGP creates events that are not just about bowling, but about the full experience – for players, friends, and families.
And the good news is that one of their tournaments is just around the corner.
The BowlingGP Series Youth Grand-Quevilly 2026 takes place on April 11–12 at Bowling Plaza Grand-Quevilly in France, and the registration is already open!
The event brings together young talents from across Europe for two days of competitive bowling, memorable experiences on and off the lanes, and a true international tournament feeling built especially for youth players.
The Format
The BowlingGP Series Youth Grand-Quevilly 2026 tournament is open to 84
players and will be played across two days, with qualification spread over
four series of four games in four different age groups:
- U14: Boys & Girls
- U17: Boys
- U21: Boys
- U17 & U21: Girls
On Saturday, bowlers will complete three qualification series, each played on
a different oil pattern, with lane maintenance between every block to ensure
consistent conditions.
The final qualification series will take
place on Sunday morning on a fourth pattern, completing a total of 16 games
for each player.
After qualification, the top four athletes in
each category will advance to the Final Four, while all other competitors will
be ranked based on their total pinfall.
The Final Four will be
played as single-game matches starting from scratch, with the semifinals
followed by the final and third-place match, before the award ceremony
concludes the event on Sunday afternoon.
This format creates a high-energy competition and great value for young bowlers.
Every player is guaranteed at least 16 games on four different oil patterns, which means constant challenges and no easy rides. It pushes youth athletes to stay focused, manage their energy, and adapt quickly as conditions change throughout the weekend.
That mix of volume, variety, and intensity is something very few youth
tournaments can offer, making it a great learning and competitive experience
at the same time.
Much More Than Just Bowling
The tournament is planned with young bowlers and their families in mind. It starts on Saturday morning and finishes around lunchtime on Sunday, so there’s no rush, no late nights, and no stressful travel. Players get the chance to compete, celebrate their results, and still head home at a reasonable time.
Off the lanes, the focus is on fun and atmosphere. During the weekend, the BowlingGP party brings everyone together with good food, music, and games, giving players a chance to hang out, relax, and make new friendships.
On top of that, bowlers compete for the BowlingGP trophy and prizes from tournament sponsors, with a special surprise waiting for anyone who rolls a perfect game. And of course, the weekend wraps up with the famous BowlingGP award ceremony - a moment that will leave you speechless.
And if that’s still not enough, the BowlingLife team will be there all weekend to capture photos and videos of every big moment on and off the lanes. From celebrations to clutch shots, the tournament will be documented so the memories can live on long after the final frame is rolled.
So if you are looking for a challenge, want to gain international experience, and be part of something bigger than just another weekend tournament, the BowlingGP Series Youth Grand-Quevilly 2026 offers a rare opportunity.
