Alexis Runk led qualifying at the 2026 PWBA Pepsi Open on Friday, earning the top seed for Saturday’s 16-player match-play bracket at Yorktown Lanes in Parma Heights, Ohio.
Runk finished the two six-game blocks with 2,793. Stephanie Zavala placed second with 2,748, while defending PWBA Player of the Year New Hui Fen was third with 2,720. Sydney Brummett completed the top four with 2,707.
Colombia’s Rocio Restrepo-Hostetler advanced in fifth with 2,671, followed by South Korea’s Seo Yeon Ryu at 2,656. Olivia Komorowski and Summer Jasmin tied for seventh with 2,653.
Maranda Pattison finished ninth with 2,647, Sweden’s Nora Johansson was 10th with 2,636 and Hope Gramly took 11th with 2,629. Latvia’s Diana Zavjalova followed in 12th with 2,625.
Crystal Elliott qualified 13th with 2,624, followed by Kayla Pashina at 2,623 and Cassidy Courey at 2,621. Breanna Clemmer secured the final place in the bracket with 2,620.
The Round of 16 begins Saturday at 10 a.m. Eastern, with the field competing in a single-elimination bracket. The opening round and the quarterfinals, scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern, will both use a best-of-five-game format.
The four remaining players will return for the championship round at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. The semifinals and title match will be decided in one-game matches, with the winner also securing a place in the season-ending PWBA Tour Championship.
The PWBA Tour Championship begins Sunday at Yorktown Lanes, with the first eight-game round of match play starting at 5 p.m. Eastern.
