The 2026 USBC Queens begins on Thursday at Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.

The event is the third stop of the season and the first major and will feature 201 bowlers competing for the tiara and a $60,000 top prize.

All competition before the televised finals will stream live on BowlTV, while the stepladder finals will air Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.

Josie Barnes enters as the defending champion after winning the 2025 USBC Queens against Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane. Barnes claimed her second career major and fifth PWBA title with that victory, later adding another PWBA title at the Anniversary Open in front of a packed arena crowd in Green Bay.

Tournament play begins Thursday with three five-game qualifying blocks for all 201 players. After 15 qualifying games, the top 63 players and defending champion Barnes will move into the double-elimination match-play bracket.

Each bracket match will use a three-game total-pinfall format, which means every pin matters across the full match, not just one game.

The five-player stepladder finals will decide the 2026 USBC Queens champion on Tuesday night. The winner will receive the $60,000 first prize.

The first two trophies of the season went to international players. Sin Li Jane won the PWBA Bowlers Journal Rockford Open, while New Hui Fen followed with a victory at the PWBA Northern Colorado Open.
