The 2026 USBC Queens is down to 16 players after a high-scoring day of match play at Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.
Eight players are still unbeaten in the Winners Bracket. Qualifying leader Erin McCarthy remains without a loss, joined by Gianna Brandolino, Caitlyn Johnson, Victoria Varano, Emily Eckhoff, Emma Friant, Carlene Beyer, and Natasha Roslan.
Roslan has been one of the biggest stories so far. The Malaysian bowler is averaging over 254 through nine games of match play, with three-game totals of 743, 783, and 760. She also rolled two perfect games, becoming only the third player to shoot multiple 300s in the same Queens event, joining Tish Johnson and Dana Miller-Mackie.
Roslan, along with the other seven unbeaten players, now needs two more wins to secure a spot in the stepladder finals.
Eight more players are still alive in the Elimination Bracket after taking one loss.
PWBA Northern Colorado Open winner New Hui Fen, defending champion Josie Barnes, Syazwani Sahar, Elizabeth Teuber, Naho Kondo, Cherie Tan, Valerie Bercier, and Alexis Runk will continue fighting for a place on the show.
Just like Roslan, Runk also made plenty of noise. After losing her opening match, she bounced back with four straight wins in the Elimination Bracket, including an 826 three-game total against Jordan Snodgrass, which set a new Queens match-play record by four pins. The previous record was set by Tannya Roumimper in 2019.
The remaining 16 players will return Monday at noon ET. Match play will continue until two players remain in the Winners Bracket and four players remain in the Elimination Bracket.
The final two unbeaten players will bowl for the No. 1 seed in the stepladder finals. The final four players in the Elimination Bracket will compete for the remaining three spots on the show.
The 2026 USBC Queens stepladder finals will air Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
