The final oil pattern for the 2026 U.S. Open has now been announced.

Earlier today, USBC announced Oil Pattern 1, Oil Pattern 2, and Oil Pattern 3. Oil Pattern 1 measured 40 feet with a 1.84 to 1 ratio and 31 mL of volume. Oil Pattern 2 was 47 feet with a 1.63 to 1 ratio and 29.22 mL. Oil Pattern 3 was a short 35-foot condition with a 1.36 to 1 ratio and 29.41 mL.

Now, the fourth and final oil pattern has been confirmed.

This pattern will measure 43 feet. It features a 1.73 to 1 ratio and a total oil volume of 33.364 mL.

This oil pattern will be used once the field is reduced to 36 players and will remain in place through the remaining rounds, including match play and the run to the stepladder finals.

The U.S. Open is the second major of the 2026 PBA Tour season. From Tuesday through Thursday, players bowl 24 games across the first three oil pattern conditions before the initial cut to 36.

After that cut, competitors bowl another eight-game block. The field then drops to 24 players for round-robin match play. Total pinfall across 56 games determines the five players who advance to the stepladder finals.

The finals will air Sunday on The CW.
