Steve Meyer had more than 250 perfect games to his name. On Saturday, November 7, he put three of them together.
Domm’s Bowling Center in Rochester, New York, announced that Meyer had rolled his first 900 series. All 36 strikes came during the 55th Annual Maury Hayes 700 Club Tournament.
A Second 900 at Domm’s
Fourteen years before Meyer’s run, John Martorella Sr. rolled Rochester’s first 900 at the same center. His came during league play on April 12, 2012, in the bowling center his family has owned since 1971.
Domm’s now counts Meyer as the second Rochester bowler to shoot 900. Martorella’s series received USBC approval.
Meyer’s score still needs USBC approval. If approved, Meyer’s series would be the 45th USBC-certified 900 in history.
BowlingLife has covered other recent 900 series: Andrew Granite’s perfect series in Sacramento in November 2025, Erik Howard’s 900 in Kentucky and the 900 series at South Plains Lanes in Texas in June 2026.
