The IBF World Championships 2025 will take place from November 24 to December 5 in Hong Kong, bringing 31 countries and more than 300 athletes together for one of the most important bowling events in the world.
Competition will be held at the new 40-lane Top Bowl inside Kai Tak Sports Park, with the final stages of Trios and Team of Five played in an arena setting at Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
The tournament will feature Singles, Doubles, Trios, Team of Five, and All Events, making it one of the largest and most complete formats in international bowling.
Participating Countries
A total of 28 men’s teams and 22 women’s teams will compete in Hong Kong.
Men’s Division (28 teams)

Venue and Event Setup
Most competition days will take place at Top Bowl, a newly opened venue designed to meet international requirements for world-level events.
On December 4–5, the tournament will move to Queen Elizabeth Stadium, where the semifinals and finals of Trios and Team of Five will be played in a special arena layout, suitable for 1,500 spectators.
A 46-Foot Challenge
The official lane pattern measures 46 feet with a total volume of 30.125 mL, making it a demanding long pattern condition.
The pattern features a 2.15:1 ratio, 9.575 mL forward, and 20.55 mL reverse, with oil dropped to 44 feet.
Competition Structure
The first day of competition will begin with the Men’s Singles Qualifying on November 25, followed by the Women’s Singles Qualifying on November 26. All Singles semifinals and finals for both divisions will be played on November 27.
The Doubles event will follow a similar format. Women’s Doubles qualifying takes place on November 28, the men on November 29, with final rounds on November 30.
Trios and Team events will close the championship in December.
