Erin McCarthy earned the top seed for match play at the 2026 USBC Queens after qualifying concluded Saturday at Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.

The field has been reduced to 64 bowlers for the double-elimination match-play bracket. Match play will take place Sunday and Monday, with each match decided by three-game total-pinfall.

McCarthy finished qualifying with 3,561 pins over 15 games, averaging 237.40. Her final five-game block included a perfect game, which helped her take the lead heading into match play.

Valerie Bercier finished second with 3,553, tied on total pins with Carlene Beyer. Jordan Snodgrass, who led after 10 games, finished fourth with 3,550. Malaysia’s Syazwani Sahar completed the top five with 3,513.

Sweden’s Nora Johansson finished sixth with 3,495, tied on total pins with South Korea’s first bowler on the PWBA Tour, Seo Yeon Ryu. Stefanie Johnson was eighth with 3,494, followed by Alexis Runk in ninth with 3,491. Liz Johnson, who led the field after the opening round, rounded out the top 10 with 3,485.

Although she had a place in the match play anyway, the defending champion Josie Barnes also advanced through the main field. She finished tied for 39th place with 3,327 after shooting 1,190 in the final qualifying block.

The final advancing spots went to Correen Acuff and Kerry Smith, who tied for 63rd place with 3,270. Acuff earned the No. 63 seed because her highest qualifying block was better than Smith’s.
