Tim Foy Jr. continues his strong season at the PBA World Series of Bowling XVI. He led the field in the PBA Scorpion Championship after 12 games on the 44-foot Scorpion oil pattern, finishing with a total pinfall of 2,891.
If Foy Jr. defeats David Krol in the Round of 16, he will secure his fourth televised championship round appearance.
Foy, along with BJ Moore, Jason Belmonte, Rafiq Ismail, Cam Crowe, Trevor Roberts, Matt Ogle, and EJ Tackett, earned a bye into the Round of 16.
The remaining 16 players, who finished in positions 9-24, competed in the Round of 24 best-of-five match-play round.
