Tim Foy Jr. Leads Final 24 after Advancers Round at 2026 U.S. Open

Tim Foy Jr. takes the lead after 32 games at the 2026 U.S. Open, as the advancers round concluded on Friday, cutting the field to 24 players who will continue in three match play rounds.

Tim Foy Jr. leads the tournament with a total of 7,145 after a stellar performance in the Advancers round. He started the Advancers round with games 289 and 269, to finish 8-game block with a massive 1,937 total to lead the field. Qualification leader Michael Davidson is in second place with 7,088, followed by the 2022 U.S. Open champ Anthony Simonsen in third with 7,074.

Ethan Fiore holds fourth place with 7,046. AJ Johnson and Kyle Troup share fifth place with 7,005 each. Chris Via is seventh with 6,963, Deo Benard stands eighth with 6,961, Andrew Anderson is ninth with 6,916, and Tomas Kayhkö completes the top ten with 6,912.

Positions eleven through twenty-four also earned a place in match play.

The defending champion EJ Tackett advanced in eleventh with 6,903. Patrick Dombrowski follows with 6,900, and Patrick Hanrahan is thirteenth with 6,898. Dylan Jablonski secured fourteenth with 6,896. Ryan Barnes finished fifteenth with 6,843, while Terrance Rock II is sixteenth with 6,824.

Stuart Williams claimed seventeenth with 6,812. Mitch Hupé is eighteenth with 6,809, and Jason Belmonte sits nineteenth with 6,808. Tommy Jones advanced in twentieth with 6,787. Dominic Barrett is twenty-first with 6,783. Eric Jones follows in twenty-second with 6,779. Tun Hakim earned twenty-third with 6,773, and Sam Cooley took the final advancing position in twenty-fourth with 6,771.

Brandon Biondo finished in twenty-fifth place with 6,768. He missed the cut by three pins.

The remaining players who did not advance are Nick Pate in twenty-sixth with 6,756, Julian Salinas in twenty-seventh with 6,756, Tom Daugherty in twenty-eighth with 6,744, Jeffery Mann in twenty-ninth with 6,720, Sean Rash in thirtieth with 6,704, Santtu Tahvanainen in thirty-first with 6,697, PBA Pete Weber Missouri Classic winner Graham Fach, who finished in thirty-second with 6,690.

Two-time U.S. Open winner François Lavoie finished in thirty-third with 6,611, Nate Purches in thirty-fourth with 6,595, Bailey Mavrick in thirty-fifth with 6,588, and Matt Sanders in thirty-sixth with 6,492.

The top 24 players will bowl eight games of head-to-head match play starting at 5 p.m. local time today.

Two additional eight-game match play rounds are scheduled for tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m.

After 56 total games, including bonus pins for each win, the top five players will advance to the stepladder finals, which will air live on The CW on Sunday.
