EJ Tackett continues to dominate the PBA Tour, leading the pack after the first elimination round at the Mike Aulby Nevada Classic.

Tackett posted a total score of 5712 over 24 games at Coconut Bowl in Sparks, Nevada. He holds a 68-pin lead heading into the next round.

Joining Tackett in the top five are Andrew Anderson (5644), Jesper Svensson (5636), Jason Belmonte (5616), and Alec Keplinger (5599). These bowlers, along with 11 others, have advanced to the second and final elimination round.

Kyle Troup secured the last qualifying spot with a score of 5413, just eight pins ahead of Sean Rash. Troup, looking to bounce back from a tough finish at the Pete Weber Missouri Classic, is currently 186 off the stepladder cut, but still determined to make the stepladder finals with six games remaining.

All 16 remaining players will bowl six more games on Friday, with only the top five moving on to the stepladder finals. The championship round is set for March 15 at 3 p.m. local on FS1.
