
The doubles events at the 13th International Youth Friendship Bowling Championship 2025 in Doha, Qatar, ended today with some great results. Host nation Qatar and Mexico emerged victorious in the Boy's and Girl's categories.
In the Boy's event, Qatar took home two sets of medals, winning gold and bronze. Talal Al Marri and Ibrahim Al Moraikhi won the gold with a score of 2660, while Ahmed Al Darwish and Masaed Al Muraikhi earned bronze with 2510. They shared the bronze with the Czech Republic’s Václav Kordulík and David Mojka, who also scored 2514. Sweden’s Robin Jackobsson and Emil Svensson grabbed the silver with 2598.
In the Girl's event, Mexico’s Ivanna Emire Villalobos Erosa and Mariana Rendón Millán won the gold with a total of 2330. Sweden’s Lova Nilsson and Doris Lundsten took the silver with 2256, while Camila Oshiro and Ariana Komt from Peru secured the bronze with 2235. Czech Republic’s Lucie Hrazdirova and Julie Racova also earned bronze with a score of 2233.
This year’s tournament brought together young bowlers from seven countries: Colombia, Czech Republic, Finland, Mexico, Peru, Qatar, and Sweden.
Next up is the Team and Masters events, which promises even more exciting competition in the upcoming two days.
